These are literally the Kopal pant - hand made to comfort perfection just for her!

Easy to pull on with elastic in the back and tie on the front, slant pockets at the side, and made in 100% linen that’s then block printed. What's not to love?

These full leg trousers feature a double knot belted band that is meant to sit high on the waist. Peg leg style featuring voluminous legs, and wrap waist closure with tie detailing on either side. Bottom has pleats and with an adjustable tab at the bottom to create as fitted or loose as you like.

Please don't forget this garment is 100% hand made, in limited quantities, from custom made fabric - and is never re-stocked. Created, sketched, and designed by me from my beachside home in Byron Bay Australia, and then 100% hand made by my own team of artisans in my native India.

Sizing is always hard, and for us, as all our goods are made by hand, it is even more so. I have spent a lot of time over the past 8 years I have had my own line working on sizing to make it as accurate and flattering as possible, so whilst the above guide is accurate there are always some differences.

We have just opened our flagship boutique in Byron Bay to enable more flexibility, in addition to our very generous FREE returns and exchanges on ALL Australian non sale purchases.

I am also working hard to create more inclusive sizing, and am looking to add an additional larger size later this year to be more inclusive and realistic in my offerings. I have been asked for years about this, and its a long story and answer but as my garments and made by hand and graded individually with constant new and different designs, its not as easy as copying a sample and machine making larger units. BUT stay tuned for more details.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Kopal is thrilled to offer FREE shipping on ALL Australian orders over $100 AUD, and on ALL International orders over $150 USD).

Kopal offers FREE returns and exchanges on all non-sale Australian orders within 30 days of purchase. All International non-sale items can be returned within 7 days of receipt, but you need to express post your order back at your own expense.

Due to COVID - there are sometimes delays with shipping. We aim to ship all orders within 1 business day of receipt (but it can take up to 3 business days), and will do our best to expedite shipments. We can use a variety of shipping carriers, but generally ship express via Australia Post, and provide a tracking notification upon shipment. Please ensure you track your order to avoid any issues.

Australian orders are usually delivered within 3-5 business days, whilst International orders will likely take between 1-2 weeks.

International orders less than $150 USD will have a flat shipping rate of $30 AUD.

After unwrapping your delivery you can just throw the packaging in the same bin as your scraps and garden waste. Our packaging is a 100% home-compostable shipping mailer and is made from 70-80% PBAT (a co-polymer that is completely compostable) and 20-30% PLA (which is a fancy way of saying cornstarch).

RETURNS

We want you to love your Kopal purchase as much as we do, and will do everything we can to ensure you do. If you are not completely satisfied with your Kopal product our return policy is as follows:

All Australian orders purchased via kopalshop.com may be returned within 30 days, at no cost, and refunded or exchanged for another item. Any return must first be inspected and in sale condition complete with tags, bag, and be unworn. Please contact us at info@kopalshop.com to arrange your return.

All International orders can be returned within 7 days of receipt, only after receiving email confirmation from us, and must be shipped express at your cost back to our Australian warehouse.

Slight variations add to the unique beauty and personality of each piece. We also have made every effort to display as accurate as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, colours also depend on your monitor and we cannot completely guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour is completely accurate.

Kopal Indigo collection is unique and made with handmade indigo dyes. Please review the following conditions that can effect the product, the customer buying our Indigo product accepts these conditions and waives all implied warranties, including merchantability, and all claims for damages for these conditions:

Variation in the fastness of the indigo dyes as well as piece to piece irregularities can result in inconsistency of the end product. There is the tendency to have some streaking of the colour. Side to side and side to centre shading can occur.

Each dye lot may vary in shade due to the difficulty in controlling the strength of the bleaching chemicals. Shading from roll to roll can also occur. No guarantees for wash fastness, light fastness, colour crocking, or colour bleeding are made. All items returned must be in the same condition in which it was received. We will not accept returns of used or soiled merchandise. We have the right to deny a credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

GARMENT CARE

At Kopal we celebrate a slower, more considerate approach to the construction and fabrication of our garments, not just as a trend or in efforts to "greenwash" our goods, but as a way of life and out of respect to my Indian heritage and culture. My goods are not machine made in a factory in China or Indonesia, rather, they are crafted by my employees and artisans by hand on the most selective and special fabric I am able to source from my native homeland. And as such, these garments require some extra love and care.

We use handloom cottons, natural dyes, and traditional printing techniques, and as such, a little love and care is required to ensure you get the most life out of your Kopal garments. As we use all natural fibres, airing clothes outside is often enough to restore freshness. By choosing airing your clothes outside (we recommend to lay it flat or hang dry and not in direct sunlight to maintain the garments colour) over using your washing machine you will not only save water but also your Kopal garments last much longer.
